Last Flea Market finds..? + Merry Christmas To All (^^)

This years last (??) trip to flea market...I didn't intend to buy anything - I was just picking up my youngest son from shopping and cause I hadn't been in that place for some time - I "had to" look around...

I managed to spend only less than two euros this time - so I think I'm forgiven for my slip *grin*

 Candle cuff with few pumpkins - I have decided that next year I get a Halloween scene made and these will look awesome with some skeletons :)

 More candle cuffs - just little paint on them and they will be perfect flowers... I think..

These little guys I thought would be perfect for Christmas scene in Santa's room - they are originally flowerpot decorations - they had some wire in their bottom, but I pulled it away... they have some crepe paper cloths on them as you can see..

These are not from flea market - they are from our Christmas lights outside, my daughter, "tore" them out cause they were dirty and some of them were already missing/ fallen off and she brought them to me to use in my miniature making..
I think they will be perfect as Potion bottles - you agree??

It's just life...

 There has been so much drama and stress and all kinds of worries in my life that I just haven't had any mood for making miniatures..

The last straw was when I had to withdraw my Christmas-swap for this year :`(

My hubby tried to cheer me up by giving me this room box as a give little over month ago..

Haven't done anything with it - yet..
Well - I have decided to make it my Bunny room where I'll be putting all the bunny miniatures I'll make or collect over the time..
I'm going to make Bunny themed foods, furniture and so on and so on, what ever comes in my mind - I just need to decide whether it will be a kitchen or a living room.. 
I want to make few books there, some jars, bowls and other dishes and of course some paintings on the walls too..
And all the furniture - they must either be in bunny shape or have bunny themed paintings on them..
I don't think I'll find any fabrics around - so I need to figure out how make them - there are curtains and pillows on my list to make - so I guess I'll be learning how to x-stitch in this scale..

I'm still working on ideas, but mainly it just trying to get  through from day to day - I don't have my heart on this so far.. Just swirling the thoughts in my head, nothing else

Even a winning from Hurahduskadun Talot blog didn't bring me long-term pleasure - even that the prize was so wonderful

Should I uncork the bottle ..?

Kiitos Raija! Kirjoille on kova kysyntä joten niille on heti paikat tiedossa - kello taitaa päästä niiden kanssa samaan paikkaan. Pullo on tosi heino!!

.. But I  blame it for the fact, that we had our worst Halloween seasons rush when it came - and I was already ill at that time ..damn flu struck its claws in me - I've been coughing my lungs out now for at least one and a half weeks..

I literally cried when I had to cancel my swap - but sometimes things just go on the their way without you been able to do anything about them - I guess that's life, but I couldn't help it to get me so  depressed that I haven't much touches my miniatures making materials ever since...
  It literally took away my Christmas - we got a bill for taxes so we can't afford to buy presents this year - so I'm trying to focus on making good food and getting the house as pretty as I can with the time I have cause I don't have many days off in December to make preparations..
And this will be a last Christmas when any of our kids is living home with us..

Well... I'm just blue - I'll get over it.. Being ill with this much stress and worries just isn't a very good combination *grin*

As the song says; "The only way is up..." ...eventually... any day...  See you..

Työkiireet hellittävät pian (parin viikon sisään) ja pääsen toivottavasti taas minien teon makuun.

The hassle at work are resolved soon (with in about two weeks), and I hope I get to act of making miniatures again.

Kylläpä aika rientää, kun on vähä väliä kipeänä - Tytär onnistui tuomaan viime kuussa koulusta flunssan mukanaan, ja sen seurauksena olen potenut varsin "miellyttävää" yskää jo muutaman viikon... Tai no... Se melkeen jo parantui, mutta palasi osittain :\
Uskomatonta miten monta uutta lihasta itseltään löytää kun tarpeeksi kauan ja kovaa yskii *virn*

Time sure flies from time to time when you are a bit sick and not feeling to well - Our daughter managed to bring the flu from the school with with her last month, and as a result I have had quite a"pleasant" coughing for a few weeks to deal with... Well ... It's almost got better, but returned in part :\
 Unbelievable how many new muscle you find from yourself when you have long enough and loud coughs * grin *

Mutta parasta on, että sain Marille menevän joulukalenteri-swapin paketit kaikki tehtyä!! (JIPPII!!)
But the best part is that I got all my Christmas calendar-swap to Mari packages done !! (YIPPEE!!)

Nyt saan keskittyä omiin juttuihini - kuten kirpputorien kiertämiseen *virnistys*
Niillä onkin tullut käytyä pariin otteeseen ja vaihteeksi jotain taas löytynytkin...

Now I get focus on my own things - such as to circumvent flea markets * smirk *

Paras löytö (omasta mielestä..) oli tämä - 2 kappaletta 47 x 47 cm:n kokoista fleece palaa..
Best discovery (in my mind ..) was this - 2 pieces of 47 x 47 cm sized pieces of fleece fabric..

 Pussillinen nappeja - kahta eri mallia... - - -  A bag full of buttons - two different models...

Minusta nämä näyttävät ihan leiviltä, kun ne vain maalaa oikean värisiksi...
I think they look just like bread, , as long as you paint them with right color...

I do not know by what name they are called, but the red stars go (at least partially) the decoration of the fir trees ..And green hearts - well I think they look like gingerbread. But I'm sure there's plenty of more from them to do :)

I got from my youngest son a surprise gift last week .

Hän oli markkinoilla törmännyt johonkun, joka teki minejä ja osti minulle pikku pussin aarteita :)
He was on the market to come across someone that made minis and bought me a small bag of treasures :)

Koska nyt tulevan maanantaina on syntymäpäiväni - jolta en odota suuriakaan, koska pidämme mieheni 50 vuotis juhlat saman viikon sunnuntaina..
Ostin itse itselleni pientä lahjan tapaista...
Because now coming Monday is my birthday - which I do not expect much, because we keep my husband's 50-year celebrations on Sunday of the same week..

Today I went to the neighboring village  local market and "got lost" there in a flea market ...

And quite good bargains in my opinion from there I did :)

Over a 2 meters of cross stitch fabric - the price of only 60 cents !!

Ja kaikkein paras löytö tuli vastan viimeisen rivin lopussa...

Hieman nuhjuisia ovat, joten jonkinlaista puhdistusta kaipaavat ja raukat ovat ihan totaalisesti vaatteita vailla..
Eli minun on pakko löytää jostain ohjeita vaatteille jotka sopivat noille....

A bit shabby they are, so some type of cleaning is needed to done and the poor things are just totally without clothes.. So, I am forced to find some instructions for clothes that fit to them ....

Minienteko into kateissa... - - - I've lost my making miniatures mood...

Kuten varmasti on tullut huomattua - olen tilapaäisesti kadottanut minien teko intoni :(
As you no doubt have become noticed - I have temporarily lost my enthusiasm for making miniatures :(

Suurimpana "syyllisenä" kiireet töissä, mutta myös se, että tyttäreni oli kuukauden poissa kotoa Englannissa (koulu juttuja) ja ikävöin häntä paljon..
The main "guilty" was the rush at work, but also the fact that my daughter was a month away from home in England (school stuff) and I missed her a lot..

Mutta tämän kuun loputtua siirrymme töissä kesäaikaan.. ja koska tyttärenikin on palannut jo kotiin, niin eiköhän se pikku hiljalleen ala palaamaan :)
But at the end of this month, we move at work in the summer time .. and because my daughter is back at home, so I guess I will slowly return to that area :)
