Marin pakettikin saapui, ja siellä oli taas vaikka mitä aarteita..

Koska Marista on tulossa neljättä kertaa, ja minusta toista kertaa isoäiti, niin sovimme, että seuraava swap-aihe on LAPSET :)
Because Mari is becoming a grandmother for the fourth time, and me for the second time, so we agreed that the next swap subject, it is CHILDREN :)

Ja aikaa paketin tekemiseen on elokuun loppuun.
And the time for making the package, is at the end of August.

Päätimme myös syyskuun swap-aiheen. Se on: SADONKORJUU.
We also decided the September swap subject. It is: HARVEST.

Mieheni ja minä vietämme 23-vuotis hääpäiväämme 6.7.
Ja toivomme tietysti kovasti, että toinen lapsenlapsemme ehtii syntyä meille lahjaksi siihen mennessä (^^)
Ja koska täytän 1.elokuuta "ruhtinaalliset" 45 vuotta (voi että minä olen vanha!! ) - niin alan tässä vähitellen suunnittelemaan myös kolmatta arvontaani...
My husband and I spend our 23-year wedding anniversary on July 6.
And naturally at this time we hope very much that our second grandchildren will be born by that time like a little gift to us  (^ ^) 
And because I will fill on 1st of August  "peachy" 45 years (gosh, that I'm old!) - So in this light, I'm gradually starting to design the third giveaway of mine.

Sain viimein pienen swap-paketin tehtyä Marille..
I finally got a small swap package made to Mari..

Ja aiheena oli: JUHLA
The subject was: PARTY

Tein tanssiaismekon - näkee, että vaatteiden tekeminen ei todellakaan kuulu vahvuuksiini, vaikka niistä paljon pidänkin.. Etenkin tanssiaispuku tyyppisistä..
Mutta eiköhän tämäkin taito harjoittelemalla parane *hymy*
Tarvittiin kolme yritystä ennen kuin edes jotenkin onnistuin.

I did a prom dress - one can see that making clothes is not really part of my strengths, even if I do like them a lot.. In particular ball dress kinds..
But I figure that this skill will get better by practicing * smile *
I needed three attempts before I managed to make one that is passable.

Kangasvalinta ei ollut paras mahdollinen tälle mallille, mutta pidin niin sen kuviosta..
The fabric choice was not the best for this model, but I liked the pattern so..

 Ruukullinen ruusuja - nehän käyvät juhlaan kuin juhlaan...
A pot fill of roses - they go for any kind of party...

Pari hääkutsu-korttia - nehän kuuluvat asiaan, eikö niin :)
..ja kehystin vielä pienen hääparikuvan - se on tarkoitettu hääpäivä juhlan pöytää koristamaan
Couple Wedding Invitation card - because they are an issue when we talk about party -aren't they :) 
.. and I framed a small  picture of the bride and groom - it is meant to decorate the wedding anniversary feast table.

Toivottavasti Mari pitää pikku paketistaan...
I hope Mari likes her the little packet..
